KSC PURCHASE CARD PROGRAM
Purchase Card Training
New Cardholders/Approving Officials are required to take NASA Purchase Card Program (PROC-001-05) and Bankcard Purchase and Desktop Receiving (IEM 1035) Web-Based training in addition to the KSC instructor led Bankcard administration course.
The web-based courses are located in SATERN. NASA Purchase Card Program (PROC-001-05) is located by selecting "Business Management/Administration". Bankcard Purchase and Desktop Receiving (IEM 1035) is located by selecting the "IEM" link.
Completion of all training is required before a card can be issued. A class is usually scheduled after 15 or so people notify the Bankcard Coordinator that they require training. Announcements about training are submitted to the KSC Daily News. NASA HQ requires all cardholders/approving officials take refresher training every 3 years (max).
